On fait le bilan de cette COP 29 en resituant ses enjeux en compagnie de Romain Weikmans, professeur en relations internationales au département de science politique, spécialisé dans la gouvernance internationale du changement climatique, afflié au Centre de recherche et d’étude en politique internationale, le REPI de la Faculté de Philosophie et Sciences sociales de l’ULB.
Avec lui, on va parler de ces COP qui se succèdent année après année et qui semblent agréger de plus en plus de déceptions, de frustrations et de craintes pour l’avenir sur les ambitions réelles de résistance aux changements climatiques. Et l’arrivée aux affaires de certains dirigeants majeurs de l’économie mondiale risque de ne pas améliorer les choses.
