Clément Pansaers, né le 1er mai 1885 à Neerwinden et mort le 31 octobre 1922 à Bruxelles, est un artiste polyvalent belge, d’origine flamande mais d’expression essentiellement française, ayant exercé son talent à la fois dans la peinture, la gravure, la sculpture et, surtout, la poésie.

Interviewé par une journaliste très bien informée, le spectre de Clément Pansaers raconte sa vie trépidante au coeur des avants-gardes littéraires à Bruxelles, à Berlin, à Anvers et à Paris. Il commente ses oeuvres et leur réception, il évoque ses amitiés et ses inimitiés, il juge ses continuateurs. Il nous initie à son mode d’expérimentation des multiples régimes de l’être.
